Corporate Membership club

If you are an organisation based in Bristol and the Southwest, our Corporate Membership Club is for you. The Corporate Membership Club is a meaningful way for organisations to evidence their commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.

When you embark on a partnership with Square Food you can expect to offer your employees rewarding volunteer opportunities, inspiring team building days, mentoring opportunities and donations towards the core elements of our work; recipe kits and cookery programmes, and of course, some delicious food to enjoy together!

What cookery programmes do we offer?

Square Food Foundation is a community kitchen, providing a safe and welcoming space to local people. Food education is at the heart of our work, and we run a range of classes to support different needs. How To Be A Chef is designed for young people aged 16-25 not in education or employment; Back In the Kitchen is for people over 55, at risk of social isolation. These are just two examples, please learn more about our classes on our What We Do page.

Cooking is an amazing vehicle for our community to learn about themselves, to grow in confidence and to work together. As well as cooking we aim to give our community valuable life skills, and the opportunity to overcome significant social, psychological, and physical challenges.

What are recipe kits?

Our recipe kits were borne out of the pandemic, where we provided hundreds of local families with recipes kits, with the goal of equipping them to cook their own meals from scratch, and along the way have the opportunity to cook and eat together, and try something new. We now distribute 200 kits every week, through local schools and Food Clubs to families who need them the most.

These recipe kits contains fresh ingredients for a family of four to cook a healthy meal from scratch, and are designed with energy saving in mind. Every week we prepares around 200 recipe kits, which are delivered to local schools and Food Clubs.

This course has given me huge amounts of confidence and independence I did not think I’d ever be able to have.”
— (How to be a Chef – for 16-25 year olds not in education, employment, or training
Barny was an excellent teacher and the food we cooked was scrumptious! The evening was well planned with volunteers available to help with the cooking and do all the clearing up! It was truly excellent value - I would love to organise another class!
— Nicola, Schlumberger.
The food was marvellous and so was the menu and the SFF Team that helped us. The wine was a delight, 3 hours passed super quickly and we didn’t want to leave.
