This 3hr workshop will introduce you to the fresh, fascinating and endlessly varied food of Japan. Perhaps surprisingly, great Japanese food can be made easily using locally sourced ingredients and the skills demonstrated by guest tutor and Japanese food expert Liam Chawdhary of Kansai Kitchen
With his street food kitchen and pop up restaurants already firmly established in Bristol, Liam is on a mission to prove just how simple authentic Japanese food is to make. You'll have fun discovering new ingredients and creating a handful of delicious and impressive dishes. There'll be time to discuss the background and culture of Japanese Food over a glass of sake. And we'll find out why real Japanese restaurants are a rarity in the UK even though you can create absolutely authentic Japanese dishes with ease at home.
23rd May, 6-9pm. £70
